Cultural Events 

Cultural events and celebrations are an important way for children to develop their understanding of the world around them, as well as having lots of fun. The world is a big place and in our international community we have a wonderful variety of traditions and events, allowing the children to grow with an open-mind. Being based in the international city of Shanghai, we will expose the children to cultural diversity through activities and events designed to celebrate diversity. Our events integrate Chinese traditional culture alongside international events.

Some of the events celebrated throughout the year include;

Mid-Autumn Festival, Children's Day, Winter Solstice, Christmas and New Year, Chinese New Year, Lantern Festival, Mother's Day, Spring and Easter, Father's Day, World Book Day, Earth Day, Summer and Dragon Boat Festival, plus Music festivals and Olympics Games.

By celebrating these festivals, we want the children to know there’s a big wide world out there, and by giving them a taste of it at such an early age we hope to plant the seeds of curiosity so they grow to be passionate little people.
